Under the theme AUTUMN CONCERT (HERBSTKONZERT) and the overall musical direction of its conductor Ludwig Krinner, the Rheinische Orchester Duisburg (ROD) will present two symphonic concerts full of musical diversity in November 2026: at the Kulturkirche Liebfrauen on November 14th and at St. Markus (Essen-Bredeney) on November 15th:

Deep emotion, compelling rhythms, and symphonic brilliance await you in this concert: Sergei Prokofiev's excerpts from the ballet suites for Romeo and Juliet retell Shakespeare's famous tragic love story through music of intense passion, tenderness, and dramatic force.

Ludwig van Beethoven’s 7th Symphony in A major, by contrast, inspires with irresistible rhythmic drive and bubbling energy.

Two masterworks that touch you directly in very different ways – and bring the full power of a great symphony orchestra to life.
